Post Anyone have a Jewel LE?

I'm thinking about springing for a JKSM. Anyone have one? Do you love it, or hate it?

I really like it.
It's loud and bright, so be forewarned. But I like the difference for a change of pace.
It was one of the better Signature model deals -- that and the Cephas.
List at the time was $1598, so don't pay too much. After all, they made a thousand of them!
Good Luck!

I think a lot of people are put off by her name being in the fretboard. I have personally witnessed more than a few guys who wouldn't even pick it up because of the inlay. Gosh, fellers, if you don't like the inlay, get some black polish to cover it! It's all wood. No abalone. (But their friends might make fun of them for getting a girlie guitar. Good reason for not buying one.)
They still sound nice. If there is a glut of them right now, take advantage of it! With a thousand of them, they won't be rare for many decades. So it's a cheaper way to have a special, signature model instrument.

I played one of these at a Mars Music in Kansas City. It was loud and bright. Seemed to be a better strummer than for fingerpicking. It was actually one of the better sounding guitars in the shop. It was not priced at list.

It's satinwood.

That Mars store still had it when I stopped a couple of weeks ago.
