Default baggs session di question - both outputs?

hey all - anyone know if I can use both outputs from the session DI? still thinking about signal chain for driving stage amp (loudbox artist) and PA, and wondering if running one output to amp and one output to board is even an option (vs. using the DI off the loudbox to feed to board)

all ideas on signal chain welcome, but I esp need to know if I can use both outputs)

thnks!

Why not just call Baggs 805-929-3545. Ask for Morgan.

Go on their forum on their website. There is a technical help area. He answers very quickly.

I would be surprised if you couldn't use both at the same time. A quick email or call would get you the answer though. Most DI/preamps allow for both to be used.

The manual doesn't say anything explicitly about this, but I think that's largely because it's so central a function for a device like this. It would be a very bad design that only allowed you to use one input at a time. One of the main things people expect to be able to do with a device like this is to send one signal to a stage amp for monitoring while also sending a signal to the house.

I'm pretty sure I've done this with mine. If indeed I did on one occasion it must have worked perfectly.

That's exactly why there are two outputs.

thanks y'all - I did what I shoulda done first - emailed Baggs. I'll let you know if there are any surprises, but sounds like using both outputs is almost a univeral assumed capability in preamps...

love this forum!
