Guitar Research is Sam Ash's house brand (as is Stageworks for PA gear). I am not familiar with its durability and reliability; but if you are tempted, I'd go to your closest Sam Ash with the axe of choice in hand before you buy (unless they pay return shipping if you're not satisfied).
