Default Interesting guitar video...

While I think this is pretty cool and different.. certainly unique..

I'm not sure about it musically.. I mean it's a little "hack-y" if you know what I mean.

It's certainly creative and worth a look though.

That sort of reminds me of seeing Stanley Jordan ten years ago. He had two guitars up on stands, laying flat, string side up, and stood in-between them with one hand on each fretboard tapping out a jaw dropping Eleanor Rigby.

Default Trace Bundy

I saw this guy a while back and he was ridiculous! Anyone else ever seen or heard Trace Bundy before? He is an all around amazing guitarist and definitely pulls out some tricks while he plays. Check out these videos:

http://www.tracebundy.com/trace_data...apo%20Stew.wmv

The last one he uses 5 customized capos. Wacky.

I noticed the wedding band...I can hear the conversation now:

"Look, either you play both of those guitars, or get rid of one of them, I'm not going to have them just sitting around here"

..."Yes dear"

Pretty amzing actually!

Rosewood - Thanks for the Trace Bundy links - simply amazing - especially the end of Hot Capo Stew where he starts ripping them off the fretboard one by one while he plays.

Pretty interesting, very percussive style. It's especially interesting to watch it being played...

And on the other end of the spectrum, I was directed over to the Olson Guitars website, where there are audio clips of various featured artists... and for the first time I heard Al Petteway and Amy White play a bit. Where have I been that I haven't heard them before? Simply beautiful and amazingly performed.

My point is that, with thanks to the fine people of this forum, I've heard so many examples of fine, astounding, unique and just plain great guitar playing - including members of this community. The two players linked in this thread are both a part of this experience.

Much fun!

Well, *I'm* impressed. I love seeing these young turks work it out. Makes my struggling with "Norwegian Wood" seem pretty danged pedestrian. Ah, well .. maybe in the next life. (You know, there are guitars in Heaven. I suppose.)
