A friend of mine added an M1 to his early 70s Gibson and he LOVES it. Says it sounds like an acoustic should and he can play as softly or aggressively as he likes.

I've been thinking about the combination of M1 and K&K Pure.
Anyone tried this yet? |

From other post
dankayaker,
I got one when I picked up my TROM. Got it kind on impulse because I wanted something that was not permenant.(atleast for know) I think it sounds alright. It definitly sounds electric but I like the fact it does sence the sound board some what. It also looks to be pretty stable live though I have not used for that purpose yet. On the video example that was on the forum a little while back, you saw the guy hit the pickup to show it sensitivity to vibration. It is not nearly as sensitve when you hit the guitar itself. Not nearly as much as my imix onboard in my 314ce. I still can't comment to much yet as I feel I need to run it through a PADI to see what it really can do. I do like Ibeam alot, but that is not perfect either. What to do? What to do? Oh well.

Thanks Stephen,
I'm trying to get something for "in chruch" playing. I think the active I-Beam looks to be the way to go. |
