Default Winzz carbon fiber guitar?

I came across this one on FB this morning. Has anyone here played one or possibly own one?

https://www.winzzguitars.com/collect...40877643366448

Very affordable price point. The reviews are all good, albeit not a ton of them. Soundhole is very McPherson like.

Looks very much like an Ovation clone to me.

Yes, agreed. It sure does. The recording on the site sounds pretty darn good. No pickup built into it.

8.4 pounds?? Is that including the case?

Reminds me of an Ovation with a McPherson sound hole, too. A shallow bowl Ovation, which has a weaker tone/sound compared to the deeper bowl. I had an Ovation for years - my favorite part of that guitar was the plugged-in sound; this Winzz has no onboard pickup?

I noticed the weight as well. That doesn’t seem like it would be right given the shallow back bowl and that it’s carbon fiber. If that’s really what it weighs, that’s one heavy guitar.

I have to say it’s very attractive. That glossy black would be a fingerprint magnet, but black is always a cool and sexy look!

One other comment: at the current sale price of $409.00, not too much risk in trying one and having a low cost temperature and humidity proof guitar.

The sound on the recording with a microphone really sounds pretty good. I would want a built in pickup in it though if I owned one.

I saw this guitar the other day on amazon.mx. It had a different name, as is the case with most chinese guitars, but it was the same guitar. I think it was Breeze. After reading this thread I went back , but it was no longer visible. It comes in alot of different colors. And it was selling for about 4000pesos, which is about 230US. My memory of it was the top wasn't solid wood. And I'd never buy a guitar off fb. In Mex at least, they are full of scammers selling Martins for $30bucks.

Link says the top is solid spruce - so just a cheap ovation-style knockoff.
