Titaniums are a little warmer and smoother all around, pretty close though.
Put either on an overly bright guitar. I used the Titanium's on my Pono Dread which is bright by nature... made a huge difference. I'd bet the 4100's will lose some of that brightness with a few hours on them. I've never tried them on the Pono, but I might. The Titanium's are low tension and very easy on he fingers, that I know.
