Default Sally in the garden:glasgow reel (clawhammer)

very nice clawhammer, with a neat story behind the music

(Neill Conner, the musician)
everyReminds me of up helly ar, the Shetland Viking festival. Shetland is in the U.K. But nearer Norway than Scotland and Shetlanders have a Nordic background. Every January they have a fire festival where the islanders dress as vikings and march through Lerwick, the capital, with burning torches. Eventually they reach the harbour were they burn a replica Viking longship and watch it sink.. These 2 songs always conjure visions of the festival I attended several years ago

I love the tune, "Sally in the Garden!" Your video didn't come through. I'll look forward to hearing it though!
