Default Looking for jams SE Phoenix, AZ

Howdy. not sure if this is the right place to post this so please advise if not

Just moved to SE Phoenix area and looking for a few mellow jams or guitar get togethers. I'm retired aka old. Played all my life but consider myself average picker/player. Enjoy acoustic and electric but not too loud.

Queen Creek area or so?

Take er easy and thanks,

Dan

Meetup.com is a good place to start looking for music jams or other group activities (hiking, cooking, real estate, art, you name it). Even if that group isn't right for you, you can meet people who can point you to gatherings that are not on the meetup calendars.

check out the Craigs List ads under musicians. There are usually people looking to jam out there in that area.

Hi Danzo, you’re probably gonna need a carbon fibre guitar for AZ.

See these guys for full enablement:

Danzo, you need to connect with AZLiberty. I think he lives in that area.

And I am trying to organize a carbon fiber get together in the Phoenix area sometime during the last week of the month (except Saturday FEB 25).

In previous Carbon Fest meetings, having a CF guitar was not a mandate. the goal was music. We had wooden instruments and those players got to see and hear a range of CF. It was all good.

In Phoenix we give location by the intersection of the Section line cross streets.

I'm at Power/Riggs

Default Thanks!

Thanks everyone. I will find a few jams, get togethers and such in due time. Will get on these ideas. I am in San Tan Valley so think most here know where that is. Gantzel (Ironwood) / Bella Vista. All fine ideas! Thanks! Dan

Danzo, I'll be coming over to Phoenix at the end of the month to play a couple nights and would like to get together and play with anyone open to it. I'm bringing my Adamas and JBL Eon One for the gigs too.
