Hi Gary,

I stopped myself from responding when you first posted the comparisons because, however nice the D-18 is, I thought the Outlaw was significantly more guitar--primarily because of the attack and the simultaneously clean and rich notes. By comparison, the D-18 sounded a little vague to me.

But the Outlaw sounds sensational. Every bit as good as--well, truthfully, better than--the recordings of the Authentics I've heard (haven't been able to play or hear one in person.)

Terrific guitar. I want one.

Really nice...CONGRATS! I was perusing the Martin specs the other day and thought to myself that if I were to get a Martin dread, the Outlaw would be the one. Your videos certainly confirmed that for me...

It is a limited Edition. They made (or are making) just 100 of them. There are several available that I noticed as I did my research.

I keep thinking this seems to have the harmonic sparkle of Rosewood, but with the qualities that Mahogany brings to the equation. It is stunning. Notes emanate and project from the guitar with the lightest touch, but dig in and it keeps delivering layers of tone and performance without headroom limitations.
