Default Eulogy for a Friend

I got word that a dear old navy buddy past away recently. We were guitar buds as well and although we both already knew how to play we spent many hours together honing our skills.

So sad your gone Jim. Glad we stayed in touch thru the years.

RIP

I'm very sorry for your loss. I spent 10 years in the Navy and still treasure the friends I made. A small group of us get together at least once a year. Time vanishes and it seems as if we are young again. We are all at the age when each meeting may be our last. Make every minute count.

Thanks Cincy, yes there are others from those days and one in particular, another guitar player that knew him as well.

True friendship is not bound by time or distance, the way many people think. I am glad you two enjoyed the kind of friendship that transcends such usual boundaries. While I am sorry for your loss, I am glad for what you gained in having him for a friend.
