Default NAD - Fishman Loudbox Mini

My Fishman Loudbox Mini arrived yesterday. (I chided the FedEx driver for making me wait until after 5 pm). Anyway, it's my first acoustic amp and it sounds great. Surprising how much bass a 6.5" speaker can put out, even with the bass control set flat. Vocals sound good too (at least as good as my mediocre voice can sound!)

I bought it without actually hearing one based on all the positive feedback here and other places. I'll add my voice to those saying this is a nice sounding amp. It's probably my imagination but I think my GA3 with Baggs M1A sounds more like an acoustic guitar thru the Mini than it does thru my PA (admittedly not a high end setup.)

FWIW, I got it from Sweetwater, my first (and very positive) experience with them. They were running a promo with a free Sennheiser mic, cable and mic stand so I had to order while I was out of town. They had no problem delaying the shipment a week so it wouldn't arrive when I was away. They even packed a little bag of candy with it. Will definitely use them again next time I need something.

Great amp! The mini is my first honest to goodness acoustic amp and I'm glad the GC salesman insisted I try it out. Great volume (maybe that's why it's a 'Loudbox' ) and very accurate tone from my guitar and vocals.

Enjoy!

The FLM was my first amp too. I love it. I bought it based on all the great reviews too. I use it for guitar, uke, and mountain dulcimer.

It is a long ways from my first amp (a Marshall double stack, Fender Bandmaster, Fender Twin Reverb, and a bunch of others... I was a rock 'n roller), but the Loudbox Mini is a great little acoustic amp. I run a line from mine to my PA... I like the tone I get with the FLM. And my back really likes this amp.

I also play an acoustic with a Baggs M1 (passive in my case) pick-up to a Loudbox Mini. It's a great for solo acoustic guitar.

You got a great deal on the package! I'm jealous. Kidding aside, it's a great little amp and it (more than just) gets the job done.

I also picked up a FLM on the Sweetwater special. I played through my friend's Loudbox Artist, so I knew what to expect before I ordered the Mini. It's a great sounding amp and a back-saver, that's for sure.

I like the FLM so much I actually own two of them (kept at different locations).

They work great for 80% of my solo gigs. For the other 20% I use my Fishman Loudbox Performer, also a fantastic amp!
