That's what I always have Steve build for me (rounded slots)..but totally loving hearing the thoughts!

I thought I posted on this but reading back through... "The old gray matter ain't what it used to be, ain't what it used to be, AIN'T what it used to be..."

i like 2 and 3 the best but you asked for "1" choice.

I think 3 is a wonderful combination of classic (almost Greco-Roman [no, not wrestling: sculpting!]) and traditional. That seems backwards but I trust you will get my drift.

You are on my list Sir. But... I need you to take care of yourself. eat well, get some exercise, don't fret over life's stress. Because it's gotten to be a long list.

How is your 2020 list looking?

All best wishes on a wonderful looking - thoughtfully designed guitar.

Yumph!

Smile Choices, choices

Well, after rereading and looking at the pics, I am liking #3 more and more.

Seems the offset balances the look of the armrest. Anyone else see that?

Cheers

Paul

Hmmmmm. I was thinking of a blend. The body of two with the top curve of 3.

Well thanks!
I'm feeling pretty good. At the moment my 2020 list has some vacancies. I will pencil you in.

That sounds like a 'wife influenced' thought process to me lol. After seeing AGF'ers again and again say #3, John thinks to himeslf..."but my wife said she HATES #3"...soooo...what's a man to do??

Then the "ah-ha" moment...build one that wife is Ok with, that most people on AGF have said they like also...#2...then, add a few little #3 touches here and there and viola...a WINNER.

Result: keeps wife happy, satisfies builder, and keeps marketing options in tact

I'm pretty sure she'll be okay with any of his designs - as long as he sells them.

Thanks for your vote Marty.
Mike, you are right. I must be brave and eschew the compromise. I think I will do number 3. In fact I know I will do number 3.

THANK YOU AGFers for helping clarify my muddled thoughts.

John, all of us should always also remember the rule that trumps all other rules..."happy wife, happy life" . I'm certain that whatever design you choose to do, it will be amazing and the ultimate result will be a sale.

So, either way you win!

Speaking of...what has happened with this build? I haven't seen an update for a while, and would love to know what has developed here. This looked to be an exciting build, can't wait to see it with finish.
