MuseScore - Free Notation Software
http://www.musescore.org/ I've just downloaded this free music notation software, having read a number of reviews. At first glance, it appears to be more capable than my older edition of Finale Notepad. Notepad was free, but I understand that Coda, the parent company is now charging $10 for it.
Anyone else tried MuseScore? Looks interesting! Certainly will not replace the full featured Finale or Sibelius notation programs, but it looks like it's going to be a useful tool. I definitely like the price!  cotten
