I remember this song from the 70's but can't remember what group or artist sang it. It was pretty obscure, and the lyrics start with:

I've got some things on my mind,
and I'm leavin you behind,
for tomorrow will soon be growin near
When mornin comes around,
I'll be in another town,
and another hundred miles pass me by...

I'm pretty sure the title is Lady in White, and I thought it might be Batdorf and Rodney, but couldn't find it in their discographey.
