Default Need a relatively well-known 'blues' or 'blues-rock' song reference

.

Thanks in advance for the advice.

I need to finish a relatively simple musical progression I have for an already complete lyric. It has to be relatively simple, because I need to teach a new band the song in one rehearsal tomorrow prior to a charity gig next Tuesday.

The band already has my music for the balance of our set, but have asked for one more original tune ...something 'blues-rock' like, if possible. I aim to please!

To that end, I'd like to relate the tune to a well-known blues (or blues-rock?) song that they might already know (they're grown-ups, not kids!). As I envision it, the song will be a simple E-A-B7 progression.

The lyric is what I guess you'd call it call and response? (you can tell this is not my forte!). It starts:

"I'm at war with my stuff
Peace of mind sure is tough"

Essentially modern humans struggle with who is master: the person or the gear. But I digress!

Anybody suggest a favorite or popular bluesy song that I'd be able to pull down from itunes or myspace or somewhere else that I could then use as a template for the proper groove we'll need?

thanks!

Wow, there are so many to choose from, depending on the beat you want: "Kansas City" is kind of a country beat, "The Thrill is Gone" provides a more bluesy rock beat, The Beatles version of "Money" is pure classic rock, and Led Zepplin's "You Shook Me" is solid electric blues! There must be hundreds of songs on YouTube that use that blues progression, and probably hundreds more that use some variation of it!
