Recognizing complexity

These two complex players are incredible. But musically, one really has something to say, the other may still be working on it.

Some "complexity" - YES! But always with MUSICALITY and ACCESSIBILITY!

Not related to guitar but to art, this reminds me why I've loved Robert Frost's poetry. He makes powerful statements with plain everyday language, which he called "the sound of sense". Some musicians have that and when you hear it, you recognize it, and that means they've communicated in a language we all share.
