Default Price Drop! Gibson EC-30 Blues King Electro $1375 Shipped.

SOLD. This beautiful maple/spruce Gibson does everything a premium acoustic electric guitar should do and it does it with a lot of style. It was made in 1997 and the very light wear on it is consistent with being played mostly, if not totally, at home. It hasn't been out of my back room since 2002. The top has some very light dings, none through the finish. The back has light scratches like from shirt buttons. There is very little fret wear, just a bit under the high E and B strings.
The word that comes to my mind to describe the tone is mature. The sound is clear, punchy and very versatile. It's as at home playing the the blues as it is with worship songs and lots in between. This guitar is very easy to play with it's low action and short scale neck. The neck width at the nut is 1.725. The small jumbo shape is very comfortable to hold. It has new Martin Lifespan Light strings. Electronics work fine. Original case is included. I've got to be firm on this low a price for this great a guitar. Thanks for looking.

These are absolutely amazing guitars. My buddy has one, I have one and a J-185EC which is what these ended up becoming. These kick butt, I got short of breath when I saw it. You can really lay into these guitars strumming wise, think Pete Townsend style, and they just keep sounding great. Not all guitars can do that. Every one I've every played has THE Gibson sound, big and deep.
