i tried to vote every day but it wouldn't let me.

not monday, since you may be tired from the weekend.

not friday, since the weekend is beginning.

that only leaves tuesday, wednesday and thursday. pick one.

play music!

Default what's the best day to call in sick but really play hooky?

If you call in sick on monday, be sure to call in sick on tuesday as well.
otherwise it's suspiciously like a hooky day for a longer weeekend.
(unless you have a dr note and are legit sick).

sick on wednesday? don't go back til the next monday.

gaming the system, oh yea.

I like Wed because it breaks up the week. I'd rather work from the office on Friday than any other day because it's more relaxed and jean day.

Wednesday breaks up the week but, Monday and Friday give you 4 on - 3 off. That's a great stress reducer. I would do Friday. Why? Because if you're off every Friday, every time there is a Monday holiday you now have a 3-day week very other month. If you do Monday's, you lose your "extra day off" every time there's a holiday.

I voted Wednesday but when I was still working there were times I used either Wednesday or Friday.

Never Monday.

I vote Wednesdays. 2 on- 1 off- 2 on- 2 off

That's how I would have it. The Wednesday isn't really "off" but it would sorta feel like it.

If you are just taking the day off I would take Monday or Friday. If you are actually suppose to do something I would take a Wednesday.

I worked from home for 6 years. I got up at 5:30 turned the computer on at 6 and did a quick check of any over night emails, then had coffee and read the news until 7.
I was out the door at 8 to do my unit work. Still stuck in traffic like everyone else.
Since I had no formal end of the day I would get back to my home office between 2 and 9. I would return all phone calls and check and respond to my email. People in my assignment felt nothing about calling any time day or night. They knew I was always available.
I would normally turn the computer off by 10 or 11. After 6 years of 15 hour days I finally demanded an office.
Now I am stuck in traffic for a couple hours a day but besides that I go home with everyone else.
Working from home takes a disciplined approach. You can goof off and risk your job or get lost in time.

Nice. Boss went on vacation and tabled our meeting.
Guess I can have 2 weeks to discuss which day of the week to take off.
