Want to feel younger, more hopeful? Spend time with young folks! I invited four recent college graduates, whom I'm known since they were 9 or 10, to eat lunch with my wife and I today. No agenda, other than friends enjoying being with friends they haven't seen for a while. These young folks are so full of life and joy, courage and purpose, even though none of them as much of an idea what the next few weeks hold for them, much less the next years.

We laughed, we remembered, we talked about today's issues and where they see things headed. We shared our dreams, which of course made us laugh some more! It was a great time, and afterward my wife and I both felt invigorated, encouraged, and inspired by these three young ladies and a young gentlemen. It was better than any multi-vitamin or exercise!
