Default Juliet 50 (original I wrote with my J50)

Happy New Year everyone...

A few years back I bought a brand new Gibson J50 from Fuller's in Houston. It was a great guitar, and I sold it because of some GAS for some guitar I don't even have anymore. That is kind of sad when you think about it, isn't it?

Anyhow, the guy I sold it three years ago put it up for sale last month on the UMGF, and I jumped on it.

I am really happy I got her back too. There was only one thing wrong with the guitar, if you could call it that, and that is the G string Grover Rotomatic tuner had too much slop. I today replaced all the tuners with Stewmac Golden Age Restoration tuners, and they look and play tune great.

Anyway I am happy to come by an old acquaintance and make her mine again. Here is a song I wrote and recorded with my new/old J50. Hope you like it.

That was COOL, Sal. I enjoyed that one a lot. Good to hear that you've been reunited with an old flame!

Congrats on the reunion. Nice how a guitar itself can inspire a song. Nice work.

Nice loose-limbed song - add a little percussion
