Thanks everyone for posting and reading this thread.

I am really looking forward to record a few tracks with this guitar.

Ray is working on an elevated fretboard. Should have more pics soon.

This guitar is going to be ridiculously nice. That end graft is exceptional, as usual with Ray's guitars.

Yes Rich, "serious" is the theme... At first, Ray and I were contemplating an even more "modern" design but the classic lines of the BRW called for a more "serious" design.

The end graft was Ray's initiative and he will be doing something funky with the fretboard extension as well. I didn't even understand what he was trying to explain but just told him to go ahead with it...

Yes that end graft is pretty sweet! My favourite part is still the rosette though.

Good question...

I intend to use the Kraut OM as my main guitar for DADGAD fingerstyle.

Until recently this position was filled by the Bourgeois SJ -- but I've decided to tune it back to standard, in preparation for the transition.

Ironically, Dana Bourgeois commented on this guitar build recently and said that he liked it...

Hey Joe,

Really good man! She's coming out beautifully and I am very pleased that she's a non cutaway!!

That's a very good looking and unusual end graft, I guess this means that you will not have a jack pin at this position, then how are you going to fit a PU? what body binding is that?

Best,

Keyshore
