Well, the year is ending and the Captain has run out of thread. But we're all still here and we can look forward to a new year with new threads. Before we get there I wanted to thank all of you for your good company.

I don't spend a lot of time on social media, but I've found this forum to be mannerly, informative, and slyly humorous. Thanks to those of you have contributed and thanks to Kirby for his gentle guidance.

Warm holiday wishes sent your way, too, Evan. This CF sub-forum is a delightful place - I appreciate the exchange of ideas, opinions, photos, NGDs, questions, and answers. A real wealth of information and a welcoming atmosphere.

And definitely a gracious pat on the back to our moderator, Kerbie.

Happy Holidays,
Jim

Many thanks to Evan and Jim for your kind words. You guys just want to have a mod around who is as crazy about carbon fiber as you are! Lol...

I've made my feelings about this thread well-known this year... it's one of the best things about the AGF. Only problem is that I have to take time away from playing my Emerald to come check it out...

Thanks to all of you who make this forum what it is... the best on the planet. I enjoy reading about your experiences, seeing your guitars and hearing your music. Enjoy the season, everybody... here's to another year of wonderful music!

Happy Holidays TO ALL! Thanks everyone helping me with my crazy search for the right composite for me. Especially Ted. Wow what a patient and gracious person. I may still be on this journey but I’m glad this forum is here.

Thanks Evan! My best wishes for the Christmas season to all you composite guitar lovers. You’re a fun bunch to hang-out with. Here’s to an even better 2018. It’ll be interesting to see what the builders come up with to further entice us to part with our $!

Merry Christmas to all here and a prosperous new year!

Also, to give credit where credit is due- one of my favorite quotes from fellow AGF member Jarvis, "Live with passion, play the guitar. Allow love, joy, peace, grace, health and wealth to be multiplied in your life- be successful in your private life as well as your public life. Don't be a public success and a private failure."

I sure hope 2018 is a better year that 2017 was.
