Martin OMC-28 Laurence Juber?
Hi all,
Saw one of these at a show the other day, the Rosewood model. I don't see much about them online. How do they sound and play? Truly a fingerstyle guitar or also suitable for some strumming, etc.? Thanks! |

I think they're fantastic, from the 2 I've played. I've been keeping an eye out for a reasonable one for a few months now.

I’ve got a couple. One Ind Rwd, the other in Madagascar Rwd. Exclnt Martins w/ power & sound. LJ knew exactly what he wanted when CFM approached him on a Signature model. All 7 or 8 of them. I’d luv to own a Mahogany one as well. IIRC: there were 2 editions in Hog?

Further thoughts?
Guys, how about for a fairly new player who is mostly a strummer and HOPES to become somewhat sufficient at fingerstyle?

Great for either, fingerstyle or flatpicking. All have Martins’ Modified V neck w/ 1 3/4 “ nut. I don’t think you’ll go wrong...imo! There’s 5 listed on Reverb now, but they don’t come w/o a price! And, a couple that are outlandishly priced. Laurence Juber Martins Wildwood Guitars in Colorado also has a few: Martin LJ OMC's '08 Martin OMC-18 LJ LJ Models I have no affilation w/ any of the above links.
