Love it!
How did you make it? Is it an actual slice of wood or is it something you made and veneered? Inquiring minds(me) want to know.

That is insanely awesome!!! Love it! Yeah, I'd buy one, although I imagine shipping wouldn't be cheap.

How did you mount to the wall? Thats a lot of weight with the guitars and the wood plaque

It started off as a 1" or so thick slab of sugar pine. It has some great color too.

The guy that made it for me is http://www.timmccaffrey.com

Not as much weight as you may think. We didn't want to drill through the slab for mounting either, so we installed some wood on the back to make it stand off the wall and provide a mounting surface

I used these:

I'm not sure what shipping would be. My friend (who is also a fantastic musician) is starting to consider that now. He liked the project too, being a fellow guitar lover. http://www.timmccaffrey.com/

That is the coolest idea for hanging guitars I've seen.

Nice work! Best "wall hanger" for guitars I've ever seen...

I like the major security provided by having such a solid mounting on the wall. Much more stable and secure than separate units. Well done, sir!

What a great idea! And it did come out really nice. I just might try making one of those myself.

Which is a shame because that is so....darn... cool.

Nice.
