Visiting my stepson's father-in-law, who is in his last days, dying of cancer.

Tough day. Sorry to hear it. Being there is everything but sad it's all we can do, no?

I won't be falling for this Black Friday scam. Cheers guys it's worked its way over the pond.

Interestingly, we have been tracking the price of a pc monitor for my son for Christmas. About three months ago it was £259, dropped to £229, then £199, £189, my wife picked it up for £169 yesterday. Today it's back to £199.

I'm pretty sure that tomorrow it will be advertised as:

Black Friday Deal was £259 now only £199!

Sorry to hear that, AE.

I'll be looking at some Online deals but probably won't buy a thing.

Borrowing from some of the earlier posters, I'll be spending some time at the vet and the local mountain bike trails.

I plan to get in some solid practice for a variety of upcoming Christmas programs, in which I will be, at different times, an orchestra conductor, a choral director, a handbell soloist/director/bass bell ringer, a guitar soloist, a comedian/inspirational speaker, and a recorder player.

I hope to visit three friends in nursing homes, taking a guitar and doing a little singing with each on in their rooms. To get to these places, I may well take the long way, driving my Slingshot, with my guitar securely strapped into the passenger seat. I would like to do a little more shopping, as well, though it is not a high enough priority to warrant a major effort if the crowds are two much. Being in a small city means fewer choices, but then smaller crowds, too.

Trimming an oak tree. Then I'll dive into the rear doors of my Jeep Cherokee and repair the window converters. It's a '96 and beginning to become my new hobby. The temp is currently 61° at 0913 local so it will be a nice cool day here in central Florida for outside chores.
