Default NEW Fishman ToneDEQ Preamp EQ with Effects

Here's a new acoustic DI preamp from Fishman that looks interesting. It's got 4-band EQ, Fishman Acoustic Effects, Boost, and Compression. It sells for $299.95 and is now on sale at various dealers. Oops, on further research, it looks like this has been out for a year or so. Anyone review this device?

Nifty combination of effects and EQ. Wonder how they sound?

These have been out over a year and I've seen used ones at Guitar Center. One complaint is the reverb/delay option. You cannot use both at the same time.

Tried one out a few weeks ago with my Lyric equipped Martin CEO-7 into a Schertler Unico. Couldn’t find a way to make the signal any “better” to my ears than when running it completely dry. YMMV.

I plan on trying the LR Baggs Session DI soon.

If the effects are the same as the ones in the individual pedals that Fishman released a number of years back and discontinued, then this could be a great unit. I fear it will be discontinued though. There's literally no talk about this unit online and I have yet to see one in stock at the stores that I shop at. I am not really sure why it was passed over.

That is a bit annoying! I would start with a little delay to add thickness to the signal and then apply reverb more generally!
