Default Spider webbing cocobolo?

Hi guys, I recently resawn a cocobolo billet. Since the cocobolo billet has only 4 1/2'' in width. Will it worth for a 4 piece back guitar or just use as ukulele back and sides? I barely see this kind of figure and color in cocobolo, is this rare?

I've built many 4 piece back guitars, absolutely nothing wrong with doing that.

How about some pics?

That is some amazing looking cocobolo. Wings in the lower bout are perfectly acceptable, but I would take some pains to work around the figure so that the extra joints are not obvious.

I've used a fair amount of cocobolo for non-guitar making activities. In my experience maybe 10% of the cocobolo I've seen has spider webbing figure.

Nothing wrong with 4-piece backs. If joined well, and the grain suitable, the extra seams can be invisible.

I'm curious to know what 'quite expensive' is?
