Default MXL990 For home studio?

GC has this mic on sale this weekend for $59.99. Price seems good for a powered mic but wanted to run it by yall see what you thought. Comes with shock mount and case.

Stock they are ok. Just about worth what they cost but $60 is a good price.

Not sure what you mean by "powered mic" but they do require phantom power.

even lower cost than that I thought the MCA SP-1 was an excellent value for the money.
