Thumbs up NGD: G&L Tribute Legacy (Swamp Ash)

Been lurking around for a year now. Decided I'd make my first post when I got a new guitar.

I'm no photographer, but I gave it a shot.

Top it all off with a family photo
This guitar has a super clean and glassy tone. More stratty than any strat I've ever played. Plays and looks great too.

Thanks for viewing.

Really nice! I haven't played any of the G & L guitars but have heard and read good things. Based on the family shot, you lean toward country music, right? That's my genre, although I find when I play an electric, I want the "oomph" of a Les Paul style.

Enjoy the new one!! Is the Tele G & L also? Looks like it says Fender, but can't read it.

How do you like her so far? Mine needed a setup but it plays nice now. (I havent touched my Martin in 2 months.)

Lean more towards Blues. The Epiphone is a guitar that I got when I started out and the Squier Tele is a guitar I got for my first electric.

It's been pretty good. Sounds great and plays nice, although I'm having trouble keeping it in tune when I use the tremolo. May need a setup.

Nice looking Strat! G&L makes some fine guitars. Btw, I like your colorful kitchen too!

Well.. dang!

I've had the guitar for a few days now and it turns out the volume pot is defective. It cuts out completely between 7 and 8. I've already been in touch with the dealer and G&L. They've both offered to replace the pot for free.

Looks like this guitar will be heading back home to Fullerton, CA in awhile to get fixed.

Still one of the best guitars I've ever played.

Congrats on the beautiful guitar and condolences on the repair.

To tide you over until it returns, let me tell you that I've got a G&L S-500 in ash and rosewood that I love and use for studio sessions quite a bit. Mine is also a lovely thing and gives me lots of marvelous sounds really quickly. Here it is at the studio on a "red guitar day":

How about some clips?

Great first post, Poutine ... Congrats! What a beaut! When I read your username I though you might have been from Quebec but NM is a ways away. How did you get your username?
