Steven Wright is my favorite. But I also like Richard Pryor, Dave Chappelle, and Eddie Murphy.

We used to watch all the old variety shows on TV in the 50s and sixties, so I have fond memories of Sid Caesar and crazy crew Steve Allen had on his show.

I always thought that Jonathan Winters was incredible... A bit “out there” at times, but always hilarious.
Jack Benny could accomplish more by saying nothing than many others could with rapid-fire delivery.

But I can’t remember laughing more at anyone than Robin Williams.

Beats me who the best is but if you're listing the greats you can't leave Howard Stern off.

Rowan Atkinson (Mr Bean)
Billy Connolly
Dave Allen

I've been to concerts by all 3.
Several times for Billy - my face actually hurt from laughing so much.
Sadly Dave Allen is longer with us.

Let's not forget the great George Carlin.
