BTW I see you also like the neck position on yours: I get some of my favorite Gretsch tones that way - sweet. clear, almost acoustic-sounding through the right amp...

Thank you for all of that info. I actually purchased the guitar almost 4 years ago but it is my most recent electric guitar purchase. I did not care for the extreme effects of the tone switch so I had my tech change the capacitors to 1/10 of their original value and now the switch is actually useful to me.

Thanks maplebaby and rollypolly! I have been jonesing for a Tele that was different....or that had non traditional tele style pickups in it.....the white, matching headstock threw me over the cliff on this one.....

Just picked up today a Squier Classic Vibe 70s Telecaster Deluxe in Olympic White. Very happy with it. To be honest I'm seriously thinking about selling my MIM Fender Telecaster after bringing this duder home.
