Default Yamaha LS-16 tuners

I know it's been done before, but I still can't find a satisfactory answer.

I'd like to replace my gold Yamaha LS-16 tuner buttons with ebony ones.

Does anyone know what make the standard tuners are and/or what the specification for replacements should be?

Do I look for Grover Rotomatic compatible replacements? They do look like unbranded Rotomatics.

Thanks,
Arthur.

Gotoh SGV510 can be ordered with ebony buttons. Much better than the factory tuners. Pretty much a direct replacement.

Thanks, but I think the tuners are fine - I only really want to replace the buttons. Just a cosmetic/aesthetic thing, ebony buttons = less bling.

So, does anyone know if Grover, Schaller, or other replacement buttons, fit the stock LS-16 tuners?

Arthur, I wish someone had an answer for you. That's why I always just bought replacement tuners, because I didn't know which, if any brands would fit.
