Nice to know when it was made, but the larger question is: is it any good now, and worth the cost of fixing? That Guild 12s are famously wonderful -- at least the good ones -- but also self-exploding time bombs that literally destroy themselves. As much as I love them, I would not myself pay for both a new top (and bracing, I'll bet), and a neck reset, both of which seem indicated here. And new frets. I would try to find a survivor whose neck, top, and bracing (and saddle; they split all the time) have proved stronger.

Because it is so trashed having it repaired will make it mostly not a vintage Guild anymore since so much has to be replaced and it will not sound like a vintage Guild as well. I cannot imagine that in its current condition that it would have much of any value given the cost of the repairs and the not so great resale value for something that will not really be a vintage Guild anymore.

1969
Hans Moust identified the guitar as being made in 1969. Thanks to all that responded!
