By the way, this thread has been expanded to include discussions and pictures of Goodall guitars. So feel free to post anything Goodall related!

Ok - I'll do just that.

I love my Goodall Brazilian Standard, it's pretty much unbelievable.

I compare all other guitars to this one - - -

I thought this thread could use some pictures of Goodall guitars. I've owned all of these ones in the past. I've owned quite a few more that I don't have pictures of any more. I regret dearly letting some of these go!! I'm a huge Goodall fan!! Many of these guitars are now currently owned by happy forum members. I've recorded youtube videos of most of these as well.

Bobby,

I sometimes think you may have more fun and talent than one man is entitled to - - - like that one pic of the abalone headstock binding.
I just missed out on acquiring that guitar as I recall.

There's a good bit of talk on this and other forums about "the one" guitar and the many guitars people go through trying to find it. I am fortunate enough to have found "the one" and it is a Goodall.

Possibly one of the rarest Goddalls are his classical guitars. Not talking about his nylon stringed crossover, which is rare enough itself. My guitar is James Goodall's interpretation of the traditional Spanish style classical guitar. I don't know anything about the construction details but I do know it is the finest playing and sounding classical I've ever played and will ever own.

Thank you James Goodall!

Would love to try a Goodall classical someday. When and where did you acquire this beauty?

Acoustic Vibes Music, Tempe AZ, a sponsor here on AGF. They have a brand new one in stock now. The only other one I can find in the country (at least via the internet).

Chance and some good fortune has allowed me to acquire another Goodall. This one is one of his Parlor models. Pictures will be forth coming but for the data base the label says it is RP-12 #4365 from Hawaii.

The Parlor is a little smaller than my classical but plays delightfully. It has the wide (1-7/8") nut width I prefer although it isn't a slot head. The dealer I got it from said that allowed an adjustable tension rod, which a slot head couldn't have. Can any of you confirm that as factual?

Dave

Default 2015 hrcj

I wouldn't mind adding this one to the list. It's a 2015 HRCJ (Italian spruce over Honduran rosewood), and it's the finest-sounding guitar I've ever had the pleasure to own. Ser. #6410. The Honduran rosewood isn't the prettiest on the planet, but the tone more than makes up for its lack of aesthetic qualities.

EDIT: Got this from Jean - #6410 completed on 9/10/15
