I'm going to see if I can track some down next spring/summer to play first. I might pull the trigger without playing based on the gazillions times I've watched videos of the Stonebridge G22 and G23. If I don't like it, I'll just send it back.

My backup plan is a Taylor 514ce. Foolproof,

There are some good YouTube videos of Dave Gunner playing his Stonebridge. Nice guitars.

I love them both, but the Cr-C is astounding! 'Course Mr. Petteway is no slouch at producing tone himself. I looked them up, they aren't even expensive.

Might be nice to take your wife on vacation to Prague, do a little guitar shopping while you're there. It's a beautiful city.

I had a G20CM for a time: one of the lightest and most resonant guitars I've ever played. Absolute monster in Open C, but also very nice in standard.
