D'addario EJ16 Strings $9.85 what a deal...
Well on the way to gig Saturday I stopped in the local Mom and Pop store just to grab an extra set of strings. The guy rang it up said $9.85. Yikes I said.
Believe me I love to support our local stores but this is just robbery. Almost 2x the price I have seen online for one set. Have others here paid this much? How much is your local price? Addison

Yep. I've paid that much before. Pretty much every single time over the last 13 years of playing. Probably closer to $12 if I went to a local store.

I have been ordering mine from ebay for the last year. $4.79 with free shipping and no tax. I would say yours is a ripoff. I don't mind paying a little more but that is ridiculous.

No question a brick and mortar should be a bit more .....but that was a tad excessive.
