Nice guitar! I saw one of these hanging in a GC that had seen so much in-store abuse it was heartbreaking. Crack in the top from poor humidity control, dings all over the place, some through the finish - and it was brand new
That still burns my butt just remembering it.

Yup -- that's a wonderful combination of design and execution. The Clapton is a genuine signature model, where the connection to the artist and the instrument is really meaningful. I don't like signature guitars, but thus is an exception. Yours is beautiful -- nothing glitzy, everything goes together. Congratulations.

It does look brand new in the photos, but there are few dings and rough spots on the finish on the bottom of the near the endpin. So not perfect, but plays beautifully and still looks amazing even with the flaws.

Congratulations! I almost sold my 000-28EC Sunburst earlier this year, and I'm very glad I didn't. I love it.

So this guitar had plastic bridge pins and I wasn't sure what the saddle was so I bought a bone Martin saddle and some Martin Ebony bridge pins. The guitar sounds worlds better. Even my wife said that it sounded better. Those Ebony bridge pins really do wonders.

I bought a used Voyage Air, one of their cheap models, installed Ebony bridge pins and it made that guitar sound so much better. I added a bone saddle later and to my surprise, it made almost no difference in comparison to the bridge pins.

Now I'm extremely happy with the trade. I'm not a big Rosewood fan, but with this body shape and the thin depth, it really sounds great. I've tried the Martin 000-18 and never liked it because it had no bottom end, but the Rosewood back and sides brings just enough bottom end to this body style.

It is funny all of my recent purchases/trades have been Martin guitars. I started out really liking Taylor guitars, but of the guitars I have now, my Keb Mo is my favorite, followed by my Martins. This happened with my electrics too. Thought I really liked Fender guitars, but ended up gravitating toward Gibson Casinos and SGs. I will always love Fender amps though. I've tried to venture out, but always return to Fender amps.

This and the D16-Adi are the two Martins I think sound best. Good score. I hope you didn't pay too much as these models are always up in the ozone layer pricewise. Does the 2006 also have that slight v-neck on it?
