Default New GA project

I love playing my custom J-45. It has Great tone, feel, sustain. It is Coco back and sides and Engleman top. But I play out abit and I am looking to replace my old banger Ibanez cutaway. I am gonna use the same great luthier, Dave Gentner, to build my new Grand Audi with a cutaway. I have chosen Madagascar RW for back and sides, mostly because I love the tight low end and mid range capability. But this is my problem. I don't really know much about the size of the GA and how it will respond to the woods chosen. Dave has suggested Adi for the top. The sound that I am looking for and hoping to get is good low end good punchy mids and nice high end. Any suggest as to top woods would be greatly appreciated. Any experience with building and tuning the tone of a GA would be grealty appreciated.

I'd trust the guy who you chose. You picked him for a reason, so I'd listen to him and trust his advice. He will know what woods/style will work best the way he builds. Have fun on the build!

I think the size of the GA will really get the best out of the Madrose! You'll be happy with it.
