Some more pictures:

It is quite interesting to hear how the guitar opens up...the bass has become a little stronger, the topend has gotten smoother. I will try to post some clips next week.

It is a PU ( polyurethane ) finish, that is naturally dried (not UV-dried). Jan has been experimenting with different finishes including Nitro and for him the kind of polyurethane they are using is the best choice.

No Eq on the files, just a little compression and reverb....record with a pair of Rode mikes through an Focusrite ISA Preamp.

Nice recordings, Olli, and a wonderful guitar. The wood ended up to be an excellent choice.

Hi Olli:
Beautiful guitar....really beautiful songs, I really loved "Peace", is that yours?
Wonderful looking woods, I loves me some Alpine Spruce for sure, and I love when the grain of the back wood flows with the body shape. I think I like the flowing grain even better than the "perfect" quartered straight grain on backs, even though straight quartered is supposed to be "better"?

Congrats Olli...how bout a picture of the twins together?

oh and...Keith, Keith, Keith...yer s' funny...but seriously...don't you have a gorgeous amazing and wonderous custom guitar to go order somewhere? :-)

Very Best Regards
duff

Olli, what can I say, one of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard - congratulations!
And your playing and recording are realy nice - BTW, can you record a byte where you strum the guitar, light to medium to heavy?
Again, you're one lucky guitar owner.

Hey Ollie,
Stunning guitar. Is that a bit of tint on the back of the neck by the headstock? It looks really cool. Nice sound and playing on the clips you recorded. Enjoy your new treasure. Tom

It is a thin piece of rosewood on the back of the headstock. The frontside of the headstock is ebony.

Beautiful, is that the small-jumbo boty style? I would like one of those but with a cedar top.
