If you happen to find a couple, let me know! I've also been very interested in locating one since Jars of Clay are my favorite band. Never been lucky enough to play one though...

The only one I found was about 5-6 years ago in a local shop, at the time I didn't have the money to buy it and have been kicking myself for not doing so.
I played it several times over consecutive Saturday's but then stopped going to the dealer as it was killing me to not have it....so yeah, I am on the hunt and keep looking from time to time. Jars is my fav band also, have seen them in concert about 23 times and have a very extensive collection of their music and other memorbilia, including two limited edition baby taylor guitars. Hopefully some day I can come across one for purchase.

Not a very good one. Flood is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.

Irrelevant much? Considering their Grammy-nominated debut album went platinum in large part because of that song, you might find yourself in the minority. Not to mention the song is over a decade old and they've since released many award winning songs and albums.

I personally think that Flood was one of the weakest tracks on that CD. Plus, that CD is now over 15 years old. In addition, there was an electric version of Flood that came out soon thereafter where basically they over-dubbed an electric guitar over the already-produced tracks. It was a train wreck that got radio play.

I will say that I went to a concert during that tour and it was pretty terrible (they didn't even have a bass player at the time). I saw them about 7-8 years later and they were a lot better. Not fantastic, but not bad either.

Wow, are we off track now? Let's focus on the guitar question and keep the Band reviews for another venue.

Music Outlet in Pigeon Forge Tn did have a brand new one as of a year ago-i've played it a few times and always really like it-wanted to buy it but the price was too steep-they have almost a Taylor history collection with a LOT of special signature editions thru the years and the standard models as well-they tend to do the regular 40% off if memory serves-but tend to NOT drop the cost on old stock leftovers. Maybe they've changed, call and ask. The Jars of Clay edition used to hang past the glass cases in the picture and was about 1/5 of the way from the start of the wall hanging guits.

ask for Dusty or John-they know the Taylors real well. they sell Martin, Gibson, and all kinds of musical instruments.
