Hi, Ian...I'm sure there's some here who think I'm white and gold, but I can live with that!

I don't know a lot about tambourines. I was a rain stick major in college. I'd show up at gigs with a couple dozen of them, all in one fine alligator hide covered case. I'd make sure to have some long, some short, some skinny, some fat, some with BBs and some with beans. My friends and I would spend hours debating the acoustical properties of actual cactus spines versus plastic or steel - carbon fiber was not yet invented. OK, that paragraph wasn't true, but the first one was! cotten |
