Banka Mundi, the God over the wild beast. Just uttering the name, "Banka Mundi" protects one against the wild beast.

(Her real name is Abby and she's a dog.)

I don't currently have a dog, but if I did I would call it by it's name. Giving it a nickname will only confuse it. Name the dog and call to it by it's name. I have had dogs in the past. They require structure in their lives.

Our little Biewer (all 2.4 kilos of her) is Lucie -- but sometimes she's The Gootch. I have absolutely no idea why. She answers happily to both. Very high on the cuteness scale....

Our dog's name is Arnie (which is short for Arnold Palmer) but we call him Little Bear. My fiancee's nickname for me is Bear and the joke is that Arnie wants to be like me when he grows up... So Little Bear it is. He's perfectly happy with it

Dead Dog Fred

Now let me explain. I live in the suburbs North of Chicago. If I am talking to a friend who is not from the Chicago area I explain Chicago Democrat politics thusly.

If my Dead Dog Fred was running for office as a Democrat in the City of Chicago he would stand a good chance of being elected!

Need any proof. Yesterday was Primary election day in Chicago. All city wide offices were on the ballot. There were 5 Democratic Mayoral Candidates, including the incumbent Rahn Emanuel, on the ballot. There were 0 Republican Candidates on the ballot. There will be a run off election in April and Rahn Emanuel as did not get 50% of the vote. Rahn and Chewy Garcia will be paired up in the mayoral race.

Chicago is one sided politics and anybody with a D has a chance. Thusly my imaginary pet Dead Dog Fried could be the next head of animal enforcement.
