I have an Nikon D300s as my main camera, but picked up a Sony NEX-F3 in the clearance section at Target with a kit lens for $70. I wasn't going to pass that up! I like it a lot. It takes very good pics, and does well with panoramas and HDR's in camera:

In December I bought a Sony A6000 and the full frame A7. I really love these cameras for their size, value, image quality and the fact you can use almost any lenses on them with an adapter. First good lens I bought for the 6000 was a Zeiss 12mm f2.8. Amazing lens. I still have a Nikon D7000 but almost always shot the Sony's now.

I upgraded my NEX-5N to an A6000. Quite simply, the best camera I've ever owned. I'm no professional, but I haven't found any limitation that makes me want to go back to a DSLR.

Great pictures, Jon and Rob!

Here's a shot from my A6000, very soon after I bought it.

I'll own up to a little cropping and contrast tweaking after the fact, but I was quite pleased with this. Sometimes the light is just right.

I invested in this book, and have learned a ton about the inner mysteries of the A6000. The B&W print edition is a fairly massive tome, but easy to navigate - you get a free download of the full colour version if you buy it.

For the A6000 owners out there. How do you like the viewfinder? I'm going mirrorless and really want a good viewfinder. So far I'm leaning towards the Olympus OMD line of cameras.

Some nice photo's. I love the saturated nuclear landscapes.
Who makes Sonys optics? The 50mm looks pretty sharp, decent contrast from your examples.
I have been looking at the mirrorless stuff for a while as a personal camera. But my dough has to go Drone with a go pro first.
Going to full frame in 2013 after suffering with DX for 11 years was like throwing aside an 8 track player for a CD player. No looking back. VERY GLAD all of my Nikkor lens's were FX not DX when I switched!
If you are buying a camera the quality never gets through a mediocre lens. When you buy a lens and its cheap the price says it all. Keep it in mind when your buying "kits" for any brand.
