I can't remember where I got the "agf" part, but it just seemed to flow right.

Hence my dear first dog Duffy, and the first street I lived on Hardie = DuffyHardie.

It's the Australian way!
Mine would be Frisky Mount.

Northern - because I live in northern Ontario Canada (no, I'm not talking about north bay or Sudbury for those of you familiar with Ontario) and redneck because I'd rather be out in the woods hunting and fishing, riding atvs, etc.

I just decided to use what people call me.

The first two choices failed the censor test but Mr. Paul was accepted.

. . . well, I do have children!

otherwise, 6'-5", 185#

(really, it boils down to the dawn of all this internet stuff and a bad vanity plate. Daughter, then 4 and her friend started calling their dads, "fat dad." I thought that funny and got a new vanity plate, "FATT DAD," which is still on the car these 20 years later. With all the subsequent fora and email registrations, I just used fatt-dad as my handle.)

Dang, every time I see one of you posts I inwardly chuckle at the Dr. Who reference. Maybe I should read more history books and watch less BBC.

My AGF moniker was my online gaming handle in college. I started to type my whole name in, thought better of it, and just left it unfinished.

Greetings!

I hope everyone is in good health physically and mentally!

Two year registered member, but had been a lurker for a much, much longer time. Nice to meet you ladies and gentlemen, without knowing, you've been navigators in the world of acoustic guitars for me for quite some time. For that I would like to express my deep gratitude!

My forum name literally means SunBlack, which is a concept taken from Alchemy.

Best regards,

Sol

One should never watch less BBC. New (lady) Dr coming soon.

[email protected] has been my email for many years.

I was an electric player for most of my life until recently and have always been a big strat guy. The 77 is my birthdate (July 7).

Perhaps I should have taken a different handle for an acoustic forum!?

When I first signed up I didn't think I would participate very much at all, so I just used my email address (because I can remember it, usually!).

But here I am a year and 1,000 plus posts later with a boring screen name to go with my boring real name

I really enjoy some of the screen names, and unlike mine many of them make it easy to remember "who is who."

The Airedale Terrier , of which I do own and love , was created basically by breeding an Otterhound and an English Black and Tan Terrier dog . It is believed that there may be a few others in there along the way , but these are considered to the the roots of the breed .
Otterhounds are very cool dogs . No one uses it on the internet and it sounds kind of bluesy . I like that .
Some day , I will own an Otterhound , hopefully . In the meanwhile , I will build and play them .
