I guess I'll probably leave it alone. The humbuckers sound good enough through the clean channel.


Or you can always change pickups! [emoji4] from what I read, those PAF7’s are meant to have that vintage 50’s humbucker sound so they should sound great clean with no need to split them.

Pretty much. I think my solution is to skip over positions 2 and 4. I haven't used DiMarzio much before.

My other 7 string electric has DiMarzio Blaze pickups, which have more of a typical 7 string sound.
