Default Children's song book

Anybody know of any easy play Guitar Song Books with kid's songs? I'm far from an accomplished guitarists, but I would like to entertain my young Grandkids (5 and under). Tab would be best. I think they would be an easy first audience. Thanks in advance.

You'd probably have to wade through them to find one that meets your specs, but it looks like Amazon has a nice selection of them.

You might also try a couple of the better "thrift stores" in your area. My wife and I were looking for an economical source for children's fairytale books and found a gold mine at one of our local thrift stores. Most of the children's books looked brand new and books that originally sold for up to $20 were priced at $1 and $2 apiece. For about $10 we got at least $100 worth of books! I didn't even check, but there had to have been some children's songbooks there.......they had a bunch of books!

My 'go to' song book is Rise Up Singing. Hands down. I spent 10 yrs playing music in preschools and kindergartens, 80% of what I did came from those pages.

I have used this Folk Song Fake Book for my grand children: http://www.amazon.com/Folksong-Fake-...song+fake+book It's not tab, it's lead sheets with chord symbols, but a great deal of music for very reasonable cost.

Here is the one I have handy and have used to entertain the kids on a regular basis. From Jesus loves me to Hokey Pokey to even Bob the Builder. I have given this book to many of my friends who are starting out on guitar to play to their kids.

The people behind Acoustic Guitar Magazine put out a decent one: Children's Songs for Beginning Guitar.
