Sold! Custom Sunburst Martin D-18e Retro
SOLD!
I have a Custom sunburst Martin D-18e Retro that I ordered in September of 2013. In my search for a dreadnought I originally had my sights set on a Gibson. For some reason they just weren't for me. Then I tried out one of the Martin retros, loved the neck profile and the sound is perfectly balanced. Very clear. Then I found out I could custom order one with a burst (ala the Gibson) and that settled it for me. At that time I was super into flat picking (fiddle tunes and what not) and so I was dragging her around to quite a few workshops. She has normal wear and tear, nothing out of the ordinary for a well loved guitar, although I would say the imperfections are more visible on a burst than with the natural finish (when the light hits it right) and it's also hard to photograph (a lot of little finish dots near the bottom half of the guitar on the top, light scratches, etc - I tried to catch the glare right in the attached photos so you could see what I mean). A few minimal indents on the front of the guitar (the largest is circled in orange on the bottom photo), and some tiny ones on the neck. There is a ding on the back binding that's about a 1/4 long. Case is a little rough but in good condition. Frankly the only reason why I'm getting rid of her is because I no longer flatpick (my heart is into finger style blues) and so my cheap little Seagull folk is getting all the attention. She just sits in her case, sadly. Please no trades, I just bought a 000-28ec. $2200 shipped CONUS. SOLD! In talks with a few people with some great guitars but nothing finalized. Still available bump (i.e. Someone offer me a Gibson Keb Mo Bluesmaster)!

I took it down yesterday thinking about possibly keeping it (decided to play it and got cold feet because it's such a great guitar). But re-activated it a few hours ago...it should be live.
