Definitely a beautiful instrument.

What kind of music do you play and how does it enhance what you want to do musically? I bet this is quite an inspiration. I know that when I got my custom build that is what surprised me the most. I knew that the tone and playability would be wonderful but couldn't have imagined how inspired I would be by it. It is such a treat.

Best,
Jayne

Congrats Doug! What a gorgeous Guitar and using the " Tree" for the build really makes it special. It looks like Jonathan knocked it out of the park for you. Enjoy!

Default Razo "The Tree" Mahogany-German Spruce GA

Ernie, Boyd, Rye, Dennis and Andy thank you for your gracious responses...I am truly delighted with the way this guitar turned out.

Jayne thank you for your thoughtful input. I share your inspiration that a special guitar gives to a player each time he or she picks it up. This one definitely does that for me.

I host a semi-regular living room jam and we sing and play mainly music we love from the late 60's and 70's. The short youtube clip below is my friend Patrick taking a jazzy turn on this guitar at one of those jams the evening that Jonathan delivered the guitar and with me and my friend Kathi A. joining in to cover Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl". Patrick on the new Razo Tree GA, Kathi on a Razo OM and me on a Taylor GA.

Finally, I would like to commend Jonathan Razo for his stellar work on this guitar...one that exceeded my high expectations.

Thanks for dropping by for a look and listen! Doug

I enjoyed getting to check this guitar out at Doug's last night. It is quite the stunner in person, both visually and sonically. Very light, easy to play, and the mahogany imparts a nice woody and smooth tone. I know Doug is delighted with this guitar, and well should be. Congrats my friend! She's a keeper!!!!

Rob...thank you for inviting Cheryl and I over yesterday for guitar "show and tell" and a fun impromptu jam and sing along session. It was great to get to play guitars from your amazing collection and for you to give my Razo and Bashkin a workout. It was great fun!

Doug, the pleasure was all mine. Thanks for sharing your passion for music and for bringing your wonderful guitars (and beautiful girl friend) The new Razo is incredible and a real delight to play. Kudos to Jonathan for how far he has come in such a short time as a luthier and to you for commissioning this superb instrument.
