Stephen,

Since no one else has pointed this out I just wanted to mention that one of your Rino clamps has lost his horn, and all the other clamps around the sound hole are laughing at him ... Sorry, couldn't resist, it seemed to pop into my mind when I first saw this image.

The top is gorgeous, I'm really interested to see what you do with the binding on this build. The dark motif of the Back Strip, Endgraft, and Rosette really accentuate the Birdseye of the Maple for me. I really enjoy when a Maple build comes up on the AGF, especially if it is Birdseye

Bahahahaha! Actually I think the other clamps are jealous as the hornless fella got a few love taps from my SnapOn deadblow!

Binding wise it will be pretty simple. Just Ebony binding with a maple purfle for the back and sides. I was thinking to keep it simple for the top combo as well but that may change. I don't want to overpower the rosette with a busy top combo [emoji6]

Cool

This is my little friend "Red". If any of them clamps need a little tough love, you can send them up here for a meet-and-greet ... Haha

Simple is good, I like the idea of maybe adding a little something extra to the top. Look forward to seeing the outcome.

I was experimenting with stiffening the perimeter, much to my dismay the added tape just killed the tone and covered all the beauty up. I'll unwrap her in the morning

Stephen, I'm likely a little biased right now to this particular shape of Endgraft, yet this looks great. I really like the curved section on the top, it balances well with the other curved line in the inlay. As much as I'm enjoying the Birdseye, the winter grain lines also have very interesting patterns on this B/S set.

I really like the way you have designed the rosette, end graph and backstrip, and how they end up being slivers of the original concept. Super cool!

Thank you!! I found with that type of design that having it framed like a window or door really works well. I tired to do a larger design with the same theme for the overlay but having it be the whole shape of my peghead didn't work. I ended up having to frame it as you'll see below.
